Run with us at the 2025 Chillicothe Half Marathon & 5K Presented by Adena Health Systems
Join us for the 4th annual race through historic downtown Chillicothe, Ohio’s first capital city! The Chillicothe Half Marathon and 5k will begin and end in downtown Chillicothe, just steps away from Fifty West Brewing.
Enjoy the choice of a Half Marathon or 5k race distance – that takes you out from Downtown onto the paved trails. This out-and-back style course is made for pase pushing and challenging yourself.
This fully supported race course will have access to an aid station on the 5k and multiple aid stations on the half marathon.
All runners will receive a fully supported race route, super cozy event shirt, custom finisher medal, and a Fifty West Beer on the House!

Ohio craft breweries take to the Majestic Theater’s Courtyard at 45 E 2nd St, Chillicothe, OH 45601 for Chillicothe Ohio’s 3rd BrewFest on Saturday June 7, 2025. Join us for great beer, awesome music, and an amazing time in Historical Downtown Chillicothe.

The Half Marathon has a course limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes, which averages approximately 16:00 minutes per mile.
The race will proceed rain or shine. However, in the event of severe weather (lightning, high winds, extreme temperatures), we may delay, alter, or cancel the event for the safety of participants and volunteers. No refunds will be issued due to weather-related changes. Stay tuned to official race communications for updates.
For the safety of all participants, pets are not allowed on the race course. However, pets are allowed at the finish-line party to help cheer you on as you finish.
Yes! Friends or family members can pick-up your packet if you cannot make it.

Plan to arrive no later than 7:15am to have adequate time to park and warm up.
Due to the narrow nature of the Half Marathon course, strollers are only permitted on the 5K
You can park at the open surface lots around downtown Chillicothe or on the Street
Spectators are allowed anywhere on the course! We recommend the start/finish line or in Yoctangee Park.
Gear check is available with our Chillicothe Half Marathon & 5K VIP add-on during registration
The course is fully paved, with a mix of streets, park roads, and paved trails. The Majority of the course is on the out-and-back of the Paint Creek Recreational Trail
Yes, the Half Marathon and 5K* will have mile markers on the course. The course will be clearly marked with signage and cones.
*5k Mile Markers are new for 2025
There are a total of 3 distinct Aid Stations on the course.
The Half Marathon will hit each station twice for a total of 6 Aid Stations.
The 5K will have 1 Aid Station
Once you cross the finish line, enjoy the post-race beer or soda from 50 West Brewing!
